Professional Indemnity Insurance is aimed at people who give advice, be it an Architect or an Electrical Contractor. It Insures the Client for any loss they may incur as a result of the advice you give. As you will appreciate some occupations are a higher risk than others.

Being in an era when taking people to court is the norm, backed by a no win/no fee culture from Solicitors, it is important that you insure yourself and your business correctly.

Cover is available from £250,000 and can go much higher than that. The normal excess is £250.00 but this can increase dependant on the risk rating of the occupation.

As you can imagine, this is an area of insurance that is relatively new, and is growing, with more occupations are being added to the lists that can be covered.
