Commercial Insurance

Is a complex area, and we deal with numerous types of policies, some of which are explained in more detail in the following pages. Some of the policies available are:-

Commercial Vehicle-Already mentioned under the Motor Section but we are able to cover vans, pickups, taxis, minibuses, HGV’s and have specific policies for fleets.

We offer a range of “Packaged” Commercial Properties. Cover can be provided for the Buildings, Fixtures and Fittings, Stock, High Risk Stock, Computers, Electrical Equipment, and Public plus Employers Liability. Each policy is “packaged” to accommodate the trade/business being conducted on the premises and therefore some include, loss of rent, cash in transit, whist others include sports equipment and training equipment. The trades etc: covered are:

Shops, Retail premises, Offices, Surgeries, Leisure Premises, Sports Clubs (amateur or semi professional), Nursing Homes, Factories, Manufacturers, Hotels, and Public Houses.

Work at Home policy - Most household policies allow you to work from home, but DO NOT allow people onto the premises for business purposes. This policy is designed for persons who work from home and a) have people calling to the premises or b) keep stock on the premises.

Motor Trade - Specifically for garages, car dealerships and covers the vehicles on and away from the premises. Trade plates are also covered along with Public and Employers Liability.
